Parking:

Due to how many people are coming to the party, and the limited parking here, you MAY have to park in one of the nearby lots. It's ok - there's no ticketing.

Directions:

Coming from Akron:

Go with whatever way works best for you to get to Ravenna (far side of Kent) - either get to Kent and follow those directions, or...

Take 77S/76E past the Kent exists, and take the Rt 44 exit for Ravenna. Don't take the first part of the off-ramp that makes you turn right (and away from Ravenna), but go just over the bridge and then take the exit that loops back under - you'll be next to a McDonalds and Arbys. Stay straight on 44 (don't take the exit right after the gas stations and fast food places), go under the bridge, and then take the long straight road (a few miles?) til it veers right and under a railroad overpass. You'll do a sharp turn right under the bridge and then a sharp turn left, then keep going straight as you come into Ravenna.

Turn right on 59, drive about a half mile and turn left on Rt 88/Freedom (Wood-Coortright funeral home is across the intersection on the left). Pass through two stop lights on Rt 88/Freedom, then watch the roads on the right. Pass the first Woodgate North apartments site (Sapp Rd) and then turn right onto the next road - Woodgate Blvd (there's a blue mailbox out front). This road veers around our swimming pool a little bit - third building on the left is ours - #731. Park, come in, down the steps, and it's the first door on the right - #101.

Coming from Kent:

Come down 59, driving through most of Ravenna, past the court house, most of the fast food places, schools, etc. After you pass Taco Bell, Dominoes and Papa Johns on your right, and Dairy Queen on your left, watch the street signs. Turn left on Rt 88/Freedom (Wood-Coortright funeral home is across the intersection on the left). Pass through two stop lights on Rt 88/Freedom, then watch the roads on the right. Coming from Cleveland/Streetsboro:

Come down 271 and 480 towards Streetsboro (if you work in Kent, you know the routine). Instead of turning right on 43 to head towards Kent, keep going - you've got about another 15 min drive before Ravenna.

As you approach Ravenna (by now 480 has become 14, DO NOT veer off to the right when you see an exit for Ravenna (Lovers Lane?) - common mistake! Instead follow the road as it curves a little to the left.

Once you pass Robinson Memorial Hospital on your right and a Sheets gas station on your left, you'll want the next intersection - there's a stop light and you'll see Hardees on your right - this is Rt 88/Freedom. Turn right, go over the railroad tracks, and then turn left onto Woodgate Blvd (there's a blue mailbox near the street). If you overshoot Woodgate Blvd, you can turn in at the next Woodgate Blvd entrance (Sapp Rd) and make your way around)....
